That’s an interesting take, but I’d say it depends on how you define "fastest." If we’re talking about final settlement, Bitcoin’s security and decentralization make it one of the most reliable networks. However, in terms of raw transaction speed, many other blockchains have faster block times and higher TPS on-chain.
That said, Bitcoin’s UTXO model and the way it prioritizes transactions in blocks can sometimes make it more efficient than people expect especially with fee optimization. But I’d be curious to hear your reasoning for why it’s the fastest on-chain!
