Given the tenor of the debate, I understand the impulse to say “everyone chill, we’ve got this.” But in practice, that’s resulting in a lot of arguments that amount to “it will be like it never happened - assuming it even happens in the first place”. Yes, the worries have been mostly raised by people who want us not to try. But don’t get thrown by that — if you want this to succeed, it’s in your interest to take the worries seriously.
