Agreed. I think as early adopters of Bitcoin we have a tendency to experience “Cassandra complex” where we try to help people with our knowledge of future events but they won’t listen. Likewise, no coiners who “know better” attempt to justify their ongoing choice to be a no coiner by propagandizing Bitcoiners and throwing shade at us for our suspect judgment.
This kind of isolation coupled with the kind of success that tends to accompany hodling Bitcoin for a cycle or two does exactly what you said.
I would say that Bitcoin attracts sigma personality types, but, more along the lines of what you said, Sparrow, Bitcoin also forges sigma personalities.
The “have fun staying poor” retort to no coiners is about as sigma of a response as I can think 😆
