I think one of the things that gets missed out on when people talk about the obscenely wealthy is that the actual level of income/wealth inequality is nearly impossible to grasp.

We're talking about people so wealthy that their wealth eclipses that of the people you think of when you think of "rich" people. Those "rich" people are far, far closer in net worth to *you* than they are to the actually wealthy.

Most of us have never even been in the same building as one of these motherfuckers.
