Alas, Haku's latest chemo has failed, and at this point further treatment will not improve his declining quality of life.

All dog chemo is palliative at some level, but our focus is now purely on trying to make his last days as joyful as we can. Which is a bit of a struggle, given I'm having enough trouble just trying to keep it together.

I wish I could do more for him: he deserves better. But the road ends at a bridge, and all I can do is walk him to it with love and care.
