Got it. Yeah, I can see how that requires a lot of prep work and I imagine the process of choosing the right candidate on a list in the moment is probably a bit of a hassle as well.

I was mostly referring to closed list systems where you vote for the party list or open lists where you just pick whichever top candidates the party proposes unless you actively want to skip over somebody you dislike.
