I thought about buying a used 2017 MacBook Air until I saw that it only had 4GB of RAM. 4! In 2017!

It's almost certainly not supported by macOS anymore and I'd have to run a pretty minimal Linux on it.

I think all these 8GB MacBook Airs that Apple is selling *today* will be in this kind of predicament in just a few years.
