Reminder that companies like Cision exist. Cision (and many others like it) slurps up social media and archives the data forever in a searchable, indexed database that they sell access to. Many of these companies don't just archive the big American social media sites - they also scrape Discord, Telegram, Element, and, yes, Fedi, in near real time.
By the time you are reading this message, it's already in the databases of several data brokers who operate as social listeners, brand managers, etc.
