I’ve been keeping track. I’ve cross-posted an item 125 times to Mastodon and Bluesky. Since I have many more Masto followers, a useful direct comparison can’t be made. So I just looked at how many got NO reactions at all (likes, reposts, quote-posts). The results:
Mastodon: 2
Bluesky: 78
That seems to clearly indicate a cultural difference, not a technical or demographic one.
