In case you missed it, I have a website as well which lists interesting Fediverse accounts to follow organised into topics:

To follow an account in the directory, copy-paste its address into your search box on Mastodon etc, this will bring up its profile where you can click "follow".

To find out more about an account in the directory, just click on it and this will open its page on its home server.
