for the longest time the network effect of experiencing enough "resonance" seems overwhelmingly important and all early adopters of other platforms as misguided idealists.
Until things become so unbearable that people are simply "doing" it and experience the switch as trivial.
The simplicity of it all is true for all kinds of contexts where "social scale" comes into play. Every change for the better seems idealistic & naive up until a certain threshold. This threshold lies rather randomly anywhere between 1 & ∞.
