My main two are on there, too: the main generators people use are trained on stolen art, and training and using the generators are incredibly resource expensive.

The stolen art thing is personal - I've given up posting any of my art on the internet due to scrapers. I never posted anything online with the intent that anyone would ever use it for that purpose, and I grew up in parts of the internet where people would ask, or at minimal notify, if they wanted to use my art in a collage or image edit or anything like that. It would get stolen for bad merch but there'd be community watch for that. Now there's no consent anymore, just stealing, and it's groups that are too big to do anything about, so I can't post anything. The most egregious has been scraping of communities in totally different countries with few English skills that don't have any recourse whatsoever.

If you can find a generator that is only trained on open source art or art given with consent, that'd be a little better. The big ones aren't that, though.
