I will also go on at length about the kindness of people I interviewed and who loaned material. I was invited into the studios/homes of Brian Basset, Bill Griffith, Georgia Dunn, George Corsillo, and David Nathan, and the Charles M. Schulz Studio folks (Paige and Lex) made time to show me around and to pick their brains on multiple occasions. The book wouldn’t be possible without the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum and the Schulz Museum, giants of preservation.
