Hi – Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
Will Rollins here, openly gay Democrat running to flip California's 41st District and defeat MAGA Republican Ken Calvert.
Like many, my partner Paolo and I came of age at a time when being gay was still considered a crime in many states.
As a 17-year old in the wake of 9/11, I had a deep sense of duty to serve the country. But policies like “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” discouraged me from joining the military.
Things have changed for the better since, but despite the progress that’s been made, we’re seeing a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment -- from book bans, anti-trans legislation, and boycotts against businesses that prioritize equality.
This trend has been perpetuated by politicians like my opponent Ken Calvert and the rest of the MAGA Party.
This November, we can send a clear message that we reject their hateful agenda by turning the House blue. That starts by flipping CA-41:
