Context: My wife's car was rear ended over a month ago.
It took the other party's insurance company (State Farm) two weeks to contact us for the first time; it then took another two weeks for them to do an estimate on the vehicle and it'll be 6-8 weeks before any shop in the area will be able to begin repairs.
State Farm is now telling me that I have to return the rental today and that I'll be without one until repairs begin.
That's not right, right? What should I be doing at this point?
