I merely suggest that you retain a fair bit more skepticism and avoid piling on. There is another explanation which, because RMS hasn't said it himself, I won't say on his behalf. I just request you be careful you're not falling into the same sort of uninformed malevolence as those who gleefully join the mobs that burn those accused of witchcraft at the stake. Because that sort of injustice is simply gut wrenching, destroys lives, and I suspect you're both better than that.
