I have two Win 10 boxes left. HDR support on Linux has been nonexistent, but recently I started tested this Vulkan HDR layer:
https://github.com/Zamundaaa/VK_hdr_layer
mpv has added better tone mapping, so it's more difficult to tell if something is really being displayed in BT.2020/HDR or not. I need to check some brightness/test patterns, but if it works that's one more box I can get off Win10.
I have one gaming PC, but I rarely game anymore and hacked my PS4 ... so might just get rid of that one eventually
