I don’t think I understand the point of reading machine-written fiction. It’s not like as I read more and more fiction from a particular author something about how they see the world will be revealed to me. I’m very much the “automate all the things!” girl but these developments have forced me to recognize that I read to get to know another person, the author— until machines manage to be as interesting as people I don’t care about their poetry.
