I have a friend visiting me here in Japan next month.
I was thinking about restaurants to take them to and have one idea.
It’s not Japanese food but it’s one of my favorite places in Tokyo.
The restaurant is called XI’AN and the dish is called Toushoumen. In Japan, Toushoumen is written as 刀削麺 (とうしょうめん.)

Usually I hear people call it “Shaved Noodles.”
