Been taking a lot more calls recently about how to shift the tide amongst progressives and the left, politicians, their staffers, journalists, etc. We’re making progress but still more to do.
On a phone call this morning, the person I was speaking with, well connected in the democratic political space, said something very simple (paraphrasing here): “with the democrats, Elizabeth Warren, etc, we’re telling them (regarding money laundering)—listen, we’re the United States, not Russia or communist China. We’re never going to have centralized control of everything people do. That’s not America and that’s not democracy. You think people don’t do crime with ACH? Give it up!”
They went on to say they’ve never felt more potential for tangible action moving forward on bitcoin, with democratic moral so low, than they do now. Dems are lost, looking for ways to loosen up and move forward.
This is very good for Bitcoin rights and freedom in the U.S. if less and less people are attacking freedom tech. Onward!
