All is going pretty well in the fortress. I've connected my fort to an expansive underground cavern, which has caused many creatures to wander from the caves into the tavern and get gang raped by tens of dwarves and visitors to their amusement. finally got around to building some traps near the cavern's entrance, which has worked beautifully at destroying anything that tries to come up from the depths. nearly killed everyone when nobody decided to brew anything for about a year, leading to everyone getting thirsty and irritable.
