I used (a)import in the middle of a CSS file (not at the top). Worked in Chrome but not in Safari.
MDN says: “An (a)import rule must be defined at the top of the stylesheet, before any other at-rule (except (a)charset and (a)layer) and style declarations, or it will be ignored.”
