You know how the CDC says people can return to work and school the day after symptoms resolved? In this study of kids from December 2023, researchers found that “On the day of and day after symptom resolution, 43 (49%) and 52 (60%) of 87 had met the non-infectious thresholds, respectively.” In other words, 40% of kids are still infectious the day after symptoms end. It is such a mystery why we keep having such significant waves of #COVID19, isn't it?
