We are often challenged to walk in the shoes of those we disagree with to see things from their perspective. This missive that Mr Cox wrote gives an interesting insight into the mind of one who is embedded in the Jewish life in Israel; a true stakeholder. He is the archetypal Jewish citizen.
Are you in any way moved in your opinions by seeing directly into his perspective? Biblically the Jews are the Chosen ones and God is to deliver them in the end. If true, is it wise to screw with God's people?
I'm still trying to decide if there is any moral authority for warfare in any venue for any reason. I'm leaning toward the answer that this is not acceptable, but I'm also baffled by that conclusion because I'd be willing to end the life of an invader coming through my front door. So how much "thou shalt not kill" do i really have in my character?
This one is going to take a reread and more digesting.
