Reading certification materials is almost something I do for its own sake (having rigorous standards and a common vocabulary rules), besides its obvious utility of being able to more easily prove that I know something.
In th emanagement space so far, I feel like I've barely scratched its surface but alrady I'm put off by the generally low minimum requirements of orgs like ITIL. Compared to more technical counterparts like CompTIA, IC2, or Cisco? Seeing passing scores in the 60s or 70s feels wrong.
Back in that aforementioned technical space, ISACA's also given me some pause seeing their passing scores. Especially with how expensive their exam vouchers are...
Anyway, good luck breaking the cycle of bluffs, double bluffs, "head games", and other assorted toxic macho bullshit that only really exists to waste calories bloviating to.
