I recently had to buy a new laptop to use while my old one (from 2020) was being repaired, since my older laptops couldn't handle daily tasks even after being treated to 'lightweight' Linux distros.
On the average-specced laptop I bought, Windows 11 took OVER 60GB of the 256GB storage, leaving me with only 187GB.
I deleted Microsoft's malware and installed npub1usm0f49lkzyz93dxus5aq85a9h2thtgt466a7f7ypjtwt9ky0ersheta3l (npub1usm…ta3l) - and after removing unnecesssary language and installation packages, I now have almost 95% of the storage free.
