Today in "play silly games, win silly prizes", Sky sued a company called SkyKick for trade mark infringement.
IMHO, the likelihood of confusion was incredibly low.
Nevertheless, Sky sued.
Last week, the UK Supreme Court ruled that some of Sky's trade mark registrations were indeed made in bad faith, and has clarified - really, increased - what constitutes "bad faith", which will impact Sky and plenty of other expansive registrants.
All for a claimed infringement which, in reality, seemed to offer little to no actual risk.
