My prediction. Ultimately, all electronic devices, like computers or smartphones, will be equipped with some AI computing accelerators by default. As a matter of standard. For many reasons. Including because privacy-friendly or even privacy-preserving Ad Technology needs for web/app advertising will require such features as a matter of business requirement.
I expand this thought with some additional insight in tomorrow’s (unrecorded) panel talk concerning AI/tech leadership/business future.
