"content": "So far in the shop this morning, I put the first coat of oil onto the sun and rays of the fireplace screen. Some old and yellowed (but still transparent, zero cloudiness) linseed oil on the sun, and tung oil on the juniper rays. That all gets a day to dry before I start with the shellac, possibly tinting some shellac to punch up the yellow even more, but I’m very happy with how the older linseed oil yellowed the citrus wood. #WoodWorking #Finishing\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/writing/media_attachments/files/112/728/932/976/340/142/original/5af97d3899737836.jpeg\n",
