If you run a #bitcoin node to "support the network" then you should also run a #tor relay. As more and more wallets rely on tor to operate, the network gets awfully congested and the UX sucks with lag and timeout errors. We need to support the whole of the network and that starts at the base layer (where are the emoticons @snort?)
