#WritersCoffeeClub 4 Nov: Do you find your writing skills or writer's instinct useful in other walks of life?
I came to creative writing quite recently so I think it's the other way around, mostly. My day job is copywriting and communications, so that was useful. Critical reading + textual analysis skills from my English degree have also been very handy. Mainly though when I started writing stories it felt like a release valve for a stream of imaginings, like "oh, that's what all this is FOR"
