I know hindsight is 20/20 and the past always has a rosy tint to it but now in the future we can present verifiable evidence that yes, the internet WAS a lot more fun, it WAS a lot better, and people WERE having a pretty good time online from the mid-00s through, I dunno, 2012 or so.
