Person who doesn't own a 3d printer: "this 3d printed object is really cool!"

Person who's had a printer for at least a few weeks: "oh you like it? Please take some 3d printed junk, it's piling up and has literally zero value to me."

Having had a printer for over a decade, my brain attaches about the same value to a printed object as it does to a xerox of something.
