I use Gboard keyboard and since I started this my user dictionary is polluted with programming keywords which is good and bad.
Choice of text editor is key: I have gone from Love2D Studio (really hard work) to editors with keyboard assist: initially Kodex (for minimap) and I'm currently on Textastic (has punctuation row, function list navigator, code autocomplete).
NGL I'm not sure how long I can keep up doing this 100% on iPhone.
