MATH NERDS:
I have a question for a story I’m writing. The Tesla Model S Plaid is reportedly capable of going 0–60 MPH in 2.3 seconds. Since it’s electric, my understanding is that the acceleration is near constant, but it doesn’t start at 88ft/sec.
My question is, how far would the car have traveled in those 2.3 seconds if you floored it?
Please don’t give me a formula. I can barely add and subtract. I just want a reasonable guesstimate.
