There's no such thing as an uncompromised browser. And PPA actually will allow advertisers to get specific click through information -without- tracking users, which they are currently doing, with or without the browser's help.
In other words suggesting this is 'giving in to adtech' is incorrect. This is offering advertisers a capability to get some meaningful data without having to track users.
