NAV (Labour and Welfare Administration) are usually very strict when it comes to covering dental treatment, but as I'm learning, the regulations they publish online are national. If you're in the right income bracket and you apply with the municipal side of NAV, they have their own guidelines. The dentist estimated just over NOK 10,000 for essential treatment and it was granted, seemingly without question.
