I saw a lot of accounts of Black people, Indigenous people, saying the Fedi was hostile and the answer “I haven’t seen it but ok” was unacceptable then (correctly.) I argued with a ton of white people who came into Black timelines and tried to minimize racism by saying they “just didn’t see it.”

What changed?

Would one person who has a bad take ever take it back on social media. Not today apparently.
