I'm pretty perpetually surprised that people don't turn off their Bluetooth and WiFi on their phones when not using it. Not necessarily for avoiding stupid attacks that shouldn't be possible in the first place, but just for power saving. Similar to people that don't put their phone on airplane mode when going camping or on an airplane and then complain that their battery died in a hour despite them not using it at all
