I see the excitement of the *key projects, but do you have experience with the Hubzilla project? It answers a few more issues than *key projects do ( or at least to the point that I am aware of). Such as:
-Posting to a specific audience via the Privacy Groups feature. This isn't a room or group others have to join, it is a privacy setting so if I post a photo of family, I can post with that setting and those designated will see it and not go out to the public. This Privacy Group isn't dependent on what server others are on (aka "local-only").
-Nomadic Identity/Cloned Account. In the event that someone shuts down their server, users don't have to migrate. They can continue to use their same name/username on a different server even though their old home username is gone.
Not only that, but you can use Hubzilla for website creations and you can create multiple channels with one profile.
I'm just curious if you have checked it out and I wanted to see what your thoughts were.
