The amount of alcohol diseases and suicides on that side of the family is staggering. I saw a lot of warning signs and ignored them all, until I was starting down the path of wasting away hungover, bloated, etc. I was visiting someone I hadn’t seen in 20 years and nearly cancelled due to a hangover. He said I looked hungover. That was kind of the last straw.
