Rather than search engines or even reddit I now search the fedi for basic tech advice like this — and do you know what? it’s working. Anyway I’m gonna set up a blog again. My old domain futurebird . com is being squatted on and they want 87k per year for it. So, I shall forge a new identity and take more care this time. I should have never given up that domain. I feel swindled and not proud of myself for not being smart enough to see it coming.
