The book will be a richly illustrated history of newspaper comics that I think will appeal to people who grew up reading them in newsprint, as webcomics, or with any kind of history or industrial history bent.

There’s a wealth of untapped photos, images, and printed sources I’ll be comining with generous access to cartoonists’ personal materials (see below)
