Weird afternoon today. Had a random dead deer by the pond. Only been there a day or so. 8 point buck. No gunshot wound.

Fortunately the days have been cool and the nights have been freezing.

DNR came to make sure it wasn't a hunter's kill that was maybe too close to our residence.

Now we are hearing a bobcat calling in the distance.
