One of the less known attractions of #Poznań is the Police Fu… I mean, Training Center at the Kierskie Lake. For many years, it's in #ruins. Apparently, the story is that it's been given to the city with a requirement that whatever it's transformed into must be openly accessible to the citizens — and so far they weren't able to find anyone interested in creating anything there. On one hand, it's nice, because it makes it quite a unique place. On the other, it's sad to look how bad it's getting vandalized.
You can enter it in a few ways. Sometimes the main gate opposite the train station is open (but don't rely on it being open when you want to get out). You could also look for a wider gap in the fence. Or if you prefer a more reliable and convenient way, you can follow the path along the lake, from the direction of Parkowa Beach. Inside, you can visit a few large buildings, with interesting basements (basement photos later). There are also some guest houses (not very interesting). Everything feels a lot like stuck in the era of Polish People's Republic.
