It seems that turnout is really low in the UK elections and definitely low in London.
We need better candidates from all parties, a cap on spending and an equal playing field for independent candidates. We also need better local engagement, honest candidates and hustings so people who stand face questions at meetings in local town halls and libraries. Stop controlling everything centrally and let us have a chance to find out who wants to represent us if you want our votes.
