The final numbers for the #MarketGarden for 2023 are in.
Although I don't run it as a commercial operation, with about 800 kg from 16 beds, it produced a yield per hectare of more than 63 t/ha of #veg. The mean for all German veg producers (2015-2022) was about 30t/ha.
Since I could easily increase the production by at least 50%, that is a great argument for #NoDig #gardening as all that is done on #compost only - no fertilizers, no pesticides.
It took about 250 hours. As I don't measure the harvest of our friends, who provide the land, the total yield from the market garden is about 1.6t+.
