Amazon should either sell #Goodreads to someone who will give a shit about it, or shutter the site completely. It's been a dumpster fire for years and this latest review bomb scandal just underpins what a dumpster fire Amazon has turned it into.
For an alternative I recommend #TheStorygraph (which is what I use) or #Bookwyrm which is a #Fediverse service that I've dabbled in but found I prefer Storygraph. That does not mean Bookwyrm is bad, just personal preference.
