And while I'm playing editor and critic, NO article on AI should be printed without including mention of its environmental costs. To tell me how Chatbot X is bad at geometry but okay at translation, to ask if I would let it tutor my child, without mentioning that AI is helping to destroy my child's world--it's just not acceptable. Sort of like touting the benefits of arsenic as a rat poison without mentioning the dangers of having bottles of the stuff sitting in the kitchen.
