Well, that would explain the VTX not working.
Looks like the plastic lower frame flexed upwards on impact, causing the screw & nut on the front corner of the VTX to collide with the screw and nut at the corresponding corner of the flight controller. There was sufficient force to dent the nut on the VTX and bend the screw on the flight controller, and unfortunately the VTX cable got caught in between. One of the four wires was totally severed, and another crushed enough to expose the conductor inside.
Fortunately the MIPI cable between the camera and VTX, that runs through the same area, seems to have escaped with just a small scuff on the insulation.
